I was raised Roman Catholic, but never truly believed in the church. When I was a teenager I searched for peace in all of mans religions Islam, Buddhism, etc. However, each religion left me empty and without peace. After much searching I decided to forsake the idea of God I became an atheist. For about a year I hit rock bottom and almost lost my life. Yet, during this time, a faithful friend of mine persisted in inviting me to Temple Baptist Church. I shunned him and told him Im fine, I dont need God. Soon, I was so depressed I prayed one night God, if your realshow me. Through a series of events I ended up visiting Temple several times and caught the attention of Pastor David Pittman and Jon Stone.
