Raymond born in Park Slope, Brooklyn was first introduced into property management at the young age of 10.His late mother & mentor purchased her first property in Park Slope Brooklyn in 1967. Ray, bilingual in Spanish, translated all lease agreements and documents pertaining to their multiunit building. He helped her collect rent from tenants; maintain the interior and exterior clean, kept records of all tenant files and rent-rolls. He helped with heavy snow shoveling, a part of property management he didn?t favor at such a young age. In hindsight he became a ?Property Manager? at the age of 15. He continued to work with and for his mom until their building was sold in 1997. They moved to Gainesville, Florida.Seeking immediate employment he landed his first job as a Leasing Agent w/a Florida Mgt Co. Diligently leasing the entire property by fall. He was ?shopped? by a supervisor with a local competing company. She contacted him and offered an interview for an upcoming position with their company. He was hired as a Lease-Up Specialist/Rental Manager. His primary role was to assist the Project Manager in the construction and Lease-Up of a Brand New 320 Unit complex. read more ...
