Let's see...how long have I been an artist?...about as long as I am old! I've been selling work in galleries for over 20 years now. I've taught, worked as an illustrator for a magazine, designed ads, painted portrait commissions, directed a museum...but most of all..painted! I'm originally, and in my heart, always will be from the great state of Kentucky; it formed who I am today in ways I can't describe. Presently I live and work in North Carolina, equally diverse and beautiful, where I have found a temperate climate, interesting people and a beautiful coast. I have 4 fabulous children who are also creative and a small grandson who's quite precocious...life is rich and continues to be full of promise.read more ...read less ...
