I am the Area Chair and an Associate Professor in Business Information Technology at the Ross School of Business. I have won the BBA Teaching Award twice and am also a Thurnau Professor. From 2004-11 I directed the Ross BBA Program. One of my current research areas is on selling goods simultaneously through auctions and posted price. I investigate this problem primarily through computer experiments that have simulated billions of auctions. I currently teach the introduction to business class and coordinates the Action Learning Program. Currently my main hobby is playing basketball. I used to stay active by lifting weights, playing volleyball, hockey, or tennis. For about seven years I was a coach of my daughter's travel softball team (Ann Arbor Gold and Adrian Lookouts).
