My professional experience spans two domains - Consulting in travel and disability - Management in non-profits and higher education Travel Disability I publish daily news notes and commentary in the Rolling Rains Report on Universal Design, Travel Disability at httpwww.RollingRains.com Presentations I have given include at the Rhode Island School of Design and as conference keynoter in Australia, Barbados, Brazil, Italy, Japan, Korea, Mozambique, South Africa, Thailand, and Taiwan. At home in California I mostly kick back, which is apparently the reason why the US disability lifestyle magazine New Mobility named me "Person of the Year" for . Academic work includes guest editing the Travel Disability issue of the journal Review of Disability Studies and contributions to the journals such as Disability Studies, Design for All India, proceedings of the Carlo Besta Neurological Institute, and Study of Current Rehabilitation (Japan). Non-Profit Education Management Following years of direct service in the non-profit field I directed a co-curricular program on social justice education at Santa Clara University, directed University Ministry at Benedictine University, managed Computer-Assisted Education for Eden Housing, and directed Programs Services for SeniorNet. I served as a fellow at Benetech. I am a Fellow of the Zero Divide Foundation, the Graduate Theological Foundation. My work as an educator has involved elementary students to seniors - usually with innovative pilot programs designed to test a concept, a model, or scalablity.
