I came to Albuquerque over 18 years ago - which makes me almost a native. There are so few of us here, maybe I'll be counted! I work at Legacy Media with my husband, Scott, and we do all sorts of things from the Wedding Guide of New Mexico, Wedding Guide of Northwest Texas, Rope Burns newspaper and Around 505. We also do events, like the NM Wedding Expo, and we work with Sandoval County, doing ad agency work with our friends there. Before striking out on my own, I worked with Rick Homans and Lynne Andersen at Starlight Media, where I was the Rocky Mountain Region publisher. I came to Albuquerque from Amarillo, TX, where I worked at the newspaper as reporter and assistant city editor. Before that I was at US News & World Report in Washington, DC. I worked in the Horizons section, but left so I could get more diverse experience at a newspaper. The intention was to go back, but that never happened. That's about it.
