I am a corporate attorney admitted to practice in California, a Bay Area native and a recent graduate of Duke University School of Law. I am currently looking for corporate associate (attorney) opportunities at law firms primarily in the San Francisco Bay Area but am open to opportunities in any major metropolitan area in California, including Sacramento, Los Angeles, and San Diego. I am interested in a range of corporate law work ranging from general corporate governance to MA to VCPE and to start-up and IPO work. I am currently providing volunteercontract legal services to a number of start-ups in the Bay Area. I spent my two summers during law school interning in San Francisco and I recently completed a -month post graduate legal fellowship at Womble Carlyle in Cupertino, working for attorneys in the firm's corporate and intellectual property practice groups. My coursework at Duke Law was also very corporate and transactional focused and included courses in Mergers and Acquisitions, Business Associations, Venture Capital and Private Equity, Securities Regulation, and Intellectual Property.
