I am an artist, painting to celebrate daily life. Figures in a museum,old books stacked on a shelf,my mother's last purse,windows reflecting life on a Maine island, California Landscapes, San Francsico Bay. Daily painting is at the heart of my practice. I work small and fast, as though creating intimate entries in a diary. Individual paintings combine in a series to describe a place, time, or feeling.
