Ted received his BA in Philosophy from Union College and his JD from The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law. He is a member of American Mensa, Ltd and heads the Research Department at Alliance Advisors. Ted brings an extensive catalogue of relationships with institutional investors and the major proxy advisory services to Alliance Advisors. He supervises the maintenance of various databases, including institutional voting history and policies, and closely follows current developments in hedge fund activism. Ted also provides proxy solicitation services for Taiwan-based clients and is a member of the proxy fight, MA, and governance trend teams. In addition to producing original research for public and client-only disclosure, Ted heads the editorial effort for white papers and client presentations and reports. Prior to joining Alliance Advisors, Ted worked for years at The Altman Group, serving initially as an Analyst and Account Executive, and later as Director of Research. When not at work, Ted is an avid hiker and a voracious reader.
