Tracy Lee

Male

Biography- Tracy "TRE" Lee was born on July 3, 1973 to James and Ellease Lee, in the rural town of Baker, Florida. This northwest Florida agricultural town is so small that it has no bank, and its busiest intersection has only a yellow, blinking caution light. Tracy Lee, however, was raised in a Southern Baptist setting, a full 30 minutes drive into the surrounding woods. With the nearest neighbor nearly a mile away, it was fortunate that he was the 6th of 8 children. As the son of parents, whom both are regionally respected gospel singers, it was only natural that Tracy Lee would become passionate about a possible career in the entertainment industry. His mother still has the first poem he wrote at age 7, that would later be lyrics in his first song. By the age of 10 he was winning countywide talent shows with his rapping and break dancing skills. However, his true sign of career potential came when he was leader of a rap group, consisting of 5 of the areas most popular or "cool" 15 & 16 year old boys, even though he was only 13 years old. It was obvious to Tracy Lee that he was destined to be a shining star. After a few years of college at the University of Florida, music was put on the back burner as he grew to 6 feet 3 inches tall and then, became an aspiring professional basketball player. Oddly, his basketball physique and abilities lead to an easy transition into sport and fitness modeling for all major American and European sport apparel companies. During his 10 years, as a successful, internationally known model, he landed the principal role in a national commercial that engraved his image into the mind of millions of R&B music fans. Tracy Lee's appearance in Time Life's, "Body & Soul" R&B compilation CD commercial has replayed on B.E.T. television for 5 years. The widespread notoriety and recognition of his face in all major cities, rekindled his dream of pursuing a career in the music industry. In 2001 he began to write, rap and sing again with the hopes of getting a recording deal. During his struggles he realized the high costs of studio time and production of tracks to compile a respectable demo CD. To eliminate the problem, Tracy Lee learned to produce his own melodies to exactly correlate with the songs he had written. This allowed him to practice, perfect, and perform his songs on a higher level, cutting down on the recording time and costs of producing a demo CD. He got better as a music producer until he soon had R&B, Hip-Hop, and Hip House melodies in the hundreds. Then, like a sign from above, other aspiring artists began to ask to "borrow" his beats (not buying full rights} to hone their skills, perform locally, and record their demos.TRE LEE the "PRO-Ducer" was born. He labeled and began selling his CD's "JUST BEATS" , Volume 1-5 locally in the tiny town of Bayonne, NJ in 2007. In the first day alone, just by word of mouth, he sold 137 units by hand. The retail potential was obvious and the future of TRE LEE the "PRO-Ducer" was set. read more ...
