Born in December 1956. My Mom, a german immigrant from Aschaffenburg, Bavaria, Germany married my Dad in 1954 and emigrated to the U.S.  After travelling cross country, stationed in Connecticut, Texas and Oklahoma, a new assignment moved us to Fort Cronkite in the Marin Headlands.  My Dad, born in Chicago was sharpshooter and worked on the Nike and Ajax Missile installations.  I grew up on base and later we moved to Tam Junction (Mill Valley.) My Dad retired from the US Army in 1966.  Not too long thereafter he started working at the Presidio Yacht Club as my mom took in work as a seamstress.  (- no silver spoon here -.)Every weekend I worked at the yacht club with my Dad, the club steward.  It was there I learned to enjoy sail and began teaching sailing to other junior members.  I was invited to crew several sailboats and learned to race on San Francisco Bay. Educated from the ground up; Sausalito kindergarten, Tamalpais Elementary, Tamalpais High School, Sir Francis Drake High School, College of Marin, City College of San Francisco and Drexel University. Never to proud to do what it takes to get a job done, I was fortunate to land a job in the mail room and learning operations at the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce.  15 years later I'd been accredited many kudos in both the membership and operations, bringing technology; computers, networking and telephone systems in house. In 1993 I retired to Sonoma County to care for my life partner who passed away Christmas Day of 1994 to HIV/AIDS. During that time I volunteered to help others at the HIV Complementary Therapy Program in Santa Rosa, soon appointed to their board to write grants, and helping to open a satellite program in Monte Rio on the Russian River.  It became apparent a year after my partner's passing I would soon have to sell our 12 acre ranch and return to San Francisco.Not sure of what the future would bring as a small time real estate investor, I began a new chapter in life in 1997 starting to sell real estate in San Francisco with my business partner, Josh Bottfeld.   We began together at Zephyr Real Estate where you can find me today - Helping others in the world of real estate.  12 years have passed since the start of my professional career in real estate.  I'm modest, yet happy to say my colleagues and management have recognized me as a Top Producer and in 2008 "The Top Producer for the Noe Valley Office of Zephyr Real Estate."
