I'm a Ghost Investigator and in the medical field.Author of the book, "Haunted Fort Lauderdale" by History Press. John Marc Carr has been investigating ghost since 1998.After living in a haunted house on Long Island for 7 years, I never thought I would want to see or take part with anything about ghosts. My first relationship, a naval officer, we exchanged stories about ghosts and the life we had as children. He made a pack with me, "If I die before you, I'll haunt you...If you die before me, you'll haunt me". Never thinking much about it, I agreed. Seven years after our relationship ended, he died. He haunted me for a year and half. I went to New Orleans for Mardi Gras and gave offering to Marie Laveau and asked her to give rest to my ex-lover. Later that day, I took a knap and had a vision of Marie with 2 other women, she gave me a ritual to do for him. I woke up and went to Marie Laveau's House of Voodoo, where all the things that she described to me was there for my purpose. I purchased the items and took them home. I waited for the full moon and did my ritual and he was gone. I did get a chance to say good-bye.I wanted to find out about ghosts and joined the IGHS (International Ghost Hunter Society),and learned how to be a ghost investigator.I later founded SEFGR (South East Florida Ghost Research) in 1998. We now conduct ghost investigation by use of science. EMFs, EVPs, Laser Thermal Readings, infrared cameras and the use of 1 psychic, we go historical landmarks, private houses and well known haunts in the Broward, Miami Dade and elsewhere. All with the permission of owners and property manangers.
