Joshua "Tony Tone Montana " Davis is an American musician based from the area of Brooklyn Park, MN. Tony Tone Montana is named after the infamous fictional character from the movie "Scarface". Tony Montana (Later in his career adds Tone to his name) presents to the music industry is a unique southern style that produces a form of cocaine to the ears, that keeps his "feins" (fans) asking for more of his product. Even though both Tony Montanans' are different, they both shared similarities, to be bosses and also to own the world.Raised in Louisiana in his earlier days, Tony Tone Montana hung with a few friends who composed music. Tone's friends would always ask him to be the "hype man" of every song they made. Eventually he realized that he had the skills to rap. Even though Tone love to do music as a hobby, he also used music as a way to release his inner thoughts in a positive way. Tone knew that he couldn't afford to record music in a professional music studio, so he started to take notes on how to own his own studio and be his own boss of a label.Later on at the age of fifteen, Tone and his family moved to Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, that is where he started to take his music to a more serious level . Tone created a buzz for his name by using some of his networking and hustling skills that he had learned, while he was back home in Louisiana. During the time of him getting adjusted to Minnesota, he started to have troubles with group members and personal problems; however that didn't stop his grind or his love that he had for music, it only pushed him harder to grind.While Tone was networking with a few of the local artist in the Twin City area , he ran across another musician with the same interest as him, by the name of "Stack Juice" (Yung Bodie). That's when Tone became and artist under the Black City Hustlaz (BCH) name. Tone worked extra hard to make sure that he was being heard and to make sure the BCH name was known all over the Brooklyn Park area. Grinding hard led Tony Tone Montana to be come the "King of Brooklyn Park" and also the Co- CEO position of BCH team.While working on new songs for his untitled mix-tape, Bodie started to have issues with the fact that people always thought of Tone as the "real leader" of BCH. Bodie didn't want Tone to have more power than him so later on that year of 2008, he gave the BCH name to Tone and went his separate way .In the process of starting his new label, Tone came across numerous of musicians, some who were serious and some who only wanted to use him for studio time. It stressed him out but only made him to start on a new task which was , teaching himself how to make beats. He already had Adobe Photoshop experience from high school. It was win situation because he would be able to buy that studio equipment that he has been looking for , by selling graphics or even beats he made .In the year of 2009, Tone begin to work on an album that would change his style of rapping, and also the way he grind "B.E.S.T." (which stands for Blood, Energy, Sweat, Tears) with the help of his mentor (E.I.) ,Tone started to perfect his sound even more. B.E.S.T. pushed over 9000 plus units on the street and on the internet combined, Tone have more than twenty previous mix-tapes from the past, but calls them all his "artist development" mix-tapes. While working on his next mix-tape "Verbal Tantrum" he started to network with a few other musicians Streetz and Junior (Deadly Boyz Affiliated ). Tony Tone and D.B.A. did collaboration on his next single called "Get Crunk". The song did well, it pushed over 100,000 downloads on the internet alone.In conclusion Tony Tone Montana dropped many more albums as time past . He also found those special artist he has been looking for . Tone has given a lot of artist opportunities to show there craft ,by starting up a artist development class "Hustle or Starve" and also opening his studio to the public to use. He is still learning more techniques to be at the top and pushing forward to become the B.E.S.T.
