I am a designer/maker living in Lancashire. I create fashion accessories from wool mix felt. I am interested in using felt in a sculptural way. All my work is hand cut and hand sewn. My inspiration comes from 60s and 70s designs and colours, in particular the designs and colour ways of 1960s Scandinavian ceramics and mid century design. I studied Surface Pattern Design but gradually became more interested in textiles. I think textiles must be in my blood. In tracing my family tree I discovered my ancestors worked in the textile mills of Lancashire as far back as 1800 and probably beyond. Specialties Fashion accessories
