Acclaimed multi-award-winning rapper, writer, lyricist, actor, author and mentor, Yorta-Yorta man, Briggs releases new single ‘Ballad of The GOATs’ featuring Gomeroi artist, Kobie Dee Starting with a hip hop career that has seen him tour alongside the likes of Ice Cube, Ice T, 50 Cent, Cypress Hill and Hilltop Hoods - it soon became clear his penmanship also translated to the screen. As a TV writer Briggs has scripted and starred in the likes of black Comedy, Cleverman, The Other Guy, Charlie Pickering's The Weekly, as well as working on hugely popular Netflix series such as Big Mouth and Matt Groening's Disenchanted. Most recently Briggs starred in the multiple award winning Netflix series Boy Swallows Universe. From his break-out rap album, Briggs almost instantly joined the vast number of his Yorta Yorta countrymen and women to have infiltrated the mainstream Australian psyche - as sports superstars, writers, activists, politicians, pastors, business identities and musicians.
