As Program Coordinator, I manage three academic programs in two departments at the Harvard University Graduate School of Design. I work closely with the department chairs, faculty program directors, and students, as well as staff throughout the GSD. I have years of experience in varied and complex organizational planning, administrative coordination, and events management roles, primarily in a higher education setting. I am also an experienced online strategist, community builder, and content creator. My strategy consultations focus on whole web presence, with connecting better to your targeted constituency at the heart of any decision. As a writer and editor, I specialize in optimizing content for online use, including enhancing searchability and shifting technical content into layperson-appropriate language. I am not currently actively seeking consulting contracts, but I am open to ad hoc pro bono requests from worthy nonprofits, small businesses, and independent musicians. Volunteer Leadership I believe in nonprofits and in building more connected communities, and throughout my career I've put my skills to use in various volunteer capacities. I've served on several boards and steering committees, coordinated collective actions, facilitated consensus-driven decision processes, and led workshops and discussion seminars. Currently, I serve on the board of directors of the East European Folklife Center, a national folk arts nonprofit. I am active in various local political initiatives and campaigns, and I hold an elected ward committee member role in the Democratic party. I also remain active in my layperson-led synagogue, where I have been a member for over a decade.
