I tell stories, explaining the highly technical world at Intel in plain English for , employees worldwide. The primary aim of this work is to align and inspire employees to Intel's vision and help the company reach our business goals faster. I enjoy taking complex topics and using creative methods--primarily by writing, but also through video, images, and graphics--and making compelling tales out of them. I love the challenge of staying on top of such fast moving business, and meeting people all over the company that are making it happen. I've also been a forerunner of using intranet social media tools (blogs, wikis, micro-blogs, discussion forums, etc.) for internal communications, acting as a champion and community manager. I help communicators integrate these channels smartly into their plans, and I've spent years helping employees use these tools to work together better. Prior to my career shift into communications, I spent several years as a software developer in IT. That background has served me well as a communicator at a tech company, and now has me itching to dip my toes in web and mobile development once again....
