I grew up watching my mother scrapbook. It was a passion of hers that instilled a lot of concepts of design, layout, textures, typography, and presentation to me. Through it all, I learned how to make context look amazing while making the content the star. I've been involved in the online community since I was years old. Fascinated by bringing together people of common interest, I created MSN groups and engaged in the online community. My first reaction, after my th grade mind registered the events of the morning of September th, , was to access a MSN chat room for New York City. I wanted to be a part of the story and not just a viewer - I wanted to connect with people. This is, I believe, an important point in my life that determined what I am passionate about and gave me a direction. I've followed that path throughout High School and College. Between interests and classes in journalism, graphic design, web design, and photography, I've been given tools to continue to create and be involved in communities - telling stories in a dynamic, non-linear, interactive fashion.
