I grew up in Texas, married my dream girl as a freshman at university, and set out for Seattle following grad school. Today we live in the mountains of Colorado with our four kiddos – enjoying our amazing wilderness and community as often as possible. I started my career in consulting and software development roles with Deloitte & Touché, a global systems integrator and Dover Corporation, a mid-sized manufacturing firm. I spent most of the next decade in various marketing, sales, and evangelism leadership roles at Microsoft originally on the Visual Studio product team, later in U.S. Central Region, and now in U.S. Subsidary Marketing. At heart I am a social entrepreneur and get fired up about helping orphans and fighting human trafficking. Over the last few years, I built and ‘sold’ a humanitarian advocacy organization called HopeMongers, helped establish an advocacy community for the Christian Alliance for Orphans, and started The Woodmen Group, a network of private sector professionals (and friends) who help non-profit organizations tackle their biggest challenges.
