I've spent most of my life either as an entrepreneur or working for/with them. I've had a few successes and a few more "learning opportunities", across a wide variety of industries -- software, consulting, retail, and more. I know a great deal about what works and what doesn't, and I love to share that experience with other entrepreneurs. I'm a big fan and avid user of social media -- I started teaching people to use it for business way back in 2002 (we called it "online business networking" then), and wrote the first book on the business use of social media (The Virtual Handshake, 2005). You may not see me out in "virtual public" as much as some other social media pundits and practitioners, though -- I also believe in having a life offline!
