I am a freelance photographer based in the Washington, DC Metro area. Originally from Pittsburgh, PA, I'm a self-taught photographer who has decided to merge my passion for photography with my intense interest in the world around me. From the bustling streets of Bangalore, India, to the refugee camps of occupied Palestine, I strive to create images and tell stories that compel others to act. My primary focus is the Middle East, having actively studied the region for most of my life. However, I am actively pursuing projects and opportunities all over the world. I've also worked for, and partnered with, a wide variety of organizations including Amnesty International, AMERA-UK, and the Christian Peacemaker Teams.
