I'm a twenty-something old disabled guy with a fondness for arts & crafts and a long-dwelling love for video games. I have some college education under my belt, specifically in history and psychology. I write weekly in my blog Impressions of a Lump about the various video games I've been playing. Where my blog is dedicated to my video gaming, this Flickr profile is dedicated to the various sprites I make out of Perler Beads. Provided I still have it, everything here is for sale and I take requests. Every single sprite uploaded here was handcrafted by myself and I take great pride in them. I stick mainly to 8-bit and 16-bit sprites, since the color pallet of Perler Beads doesn't match up to the more complex sprites seen in 32-bit and up games. In other words, I stick to the NES and the SNES eras, though if a sprite from a game more recent seems do-able, I'll investigate it further upon request. I get 99% of my sprites from www.spriters-resource.com/ since they are an incredible resource, and have all that you'd want to ask for and more. Pricing Information: The Bead Sprites: I charge on a per-pixel/bead basis. Every bead is one pixel on a sprite. Every 100 beads = $1, remainders are rounded up to the nearest 100. Every $10 worth of beads per order has an extra $2 fee attached to it for time, energy, resources, and misc reasons. Shipping & Handling: Minimum S&H cost is $5, and most orders will only ever need this. If your order requires packaging that goes beyond the size of the largest bubble mailer envelopes available (around 14.25" x 20"), then those costs will be added onto the order. Best way to pay me is in direct cash mailed to my home. No regular income means keeping a bank account open is equivalent to a black hole for my money through bank fees. I *can* take payment in check or money order, but the price that I have to pay to cash these will be added into the order. Simpler is better, and people mail money all the time. I'm also negotiable in terms of trading, such as games for bead sprites.
