Tom Caswell is Open Education Program Manager at the Washington State Board for Community and Technical Colleges (SBCTC). Prior to working for SBCTC, Tom was Strategic Outreach Manager for the OpenCourseWare Consortium at MIT. He also founded Dynamic Learning Strategies, Inc., an Open Education consulting company. As an Open Education consultant, Tom did work on OER accessibility, evaluation, and outreach for institutions including the OpenCourseWare Consortium, Creative Commons and the Open University of Catalunya in Barcelona. From to he developed OpenCourseWare projects with David Wiley at the Center for Open and Sustainable Learning (COSL). Tom also taught High School teaching French and Computer Science in Utah and Southern California for years.
