Entertainment and Sports Television Programming I am a Media executive that has been fortunate to work in nearly all aspects and with all platforms of the television business over the last 20-something years. I started my career in broadcast syndication sales for major studios, then moved on to work at an emerging broadcast network in distribution and sports programming. About 15 years into my career, I "crossed over" to the other side of the programming desk and used my knowledge of the industry and my sales skills to become an excellent negotiator, scheduler, and buyer of programming at several cable networks. I was significantly involved in creating the strategy for building and branding the channels, internally managing many employees and departments. In addition, for three cable networks, I was asked to create and implement International strategies for sales and distribution of programming, resulting in significant new revenue for the channels. Simultaneously, I have learned the art of creating, developing, budgeting and producing original programming for several cable networks, winning two Emmy's for my shows.
