From 2001 to December 2004, Mr. Burns served as Head of the Pharmaceuticals Division of The Roche Group. From 1998 to 2001, Mr. Burns served as Head of Europe and International Business of Roche Pharmaceuticals. From 1991 to 1998, Mr. Burns served as Global Head of Strategic Marketing and Business Development for Roche Pharmaceuticals.
