I am a manager of marketing and communications for Intact Insurance focusing on the Ontario market. Most recently, I was an account manager with PR Associates, a public relations firm with Canadas largest and most comprehensive mining practice, where I was responsible for strategic planning, social and digital media, issues management, and corporate communications. Previously, I was a senior communications specialist for the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia (ICBC), where I was responsible for strategic communications planning, as well as the development and management of ICBCs social media strategy. I am very involved with the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) and am the past president of the British Columbia chapter. I've won IABC awards, including a Gold Quill Award of Excellence for my work on developing the ICBC Twitter account, and a Gold Quill Award of Excellence for Community Relations. When not working or volunteering, I enjoy planning my latest trip abroad, wine tasting or cooking for friends.
