Mary Deming Barber is president of The Barber Group, a strategic communications consultancy in Anchorage, Alaska. She specializes in communicating to various target audiences, especially Alaskans, and has experience in the nonprofit, community foundation, tourism and food industry sectors. Prior to coming to Alaska in , Mary handled public relations and marketing for a variety of food organizations and coordinated the volunteer efforts for a successful US Senate campaign.
