John Thomas Age 115

Greenwich, CT

Also known as: johnthomas77

Edge, aggression, and passion; a fantastically dangerous combination that emanates from a 19 year old soul, desperately in love with music and it’s true worth.  Though a new face in this eclectic world of talents, John Thomas has found a way to dig into the archives, pull out, and dust off the quintessential spirit of music.   Discovering his potential at an age so tender, John was inspired by the heartfelt rendition of “Amazing Grace,” by a character in the film Little Men. Challenging himself to emulate the performance, John soon realized that it was no challenge at all.  Praised by his family and congregation, in his hometown of Martha’s Vineyard, it was clear from that start that a life of living, breathing, and expressing himself through music was his destiny. Surpassed only by his close relationship with God and an incomparable love for his family, John’s love affair with music came into fruition with the encouragement of his cousin and now manager Emily.  Knowing that her cousin possessed a prodigious talent; unseen as of late, Emily felt is was her duty to jump on board and help John on his journey towards becoming a refreshing, yet reminiscent voice and style in this world of reinvented music. With an explosive amalgamation of tones, John’s pipes bring together the sounds of such musical wonders as, Kings of Leon, Justin Timberlake, Robin Thicke, and with honor, the late, great Michael Jackson.   John’s self-invented “Edgy Pop” genre of music is accompanied ever-so-tastefully by his “James Dean meets modern New York” style, compliments of Elena, his creative director.  Without over-production and the use of voice enhancements, John’s voice oozes a tone so real and raw that fans are taken down a memory lane to a time when music was sung from the bottom of the heart, without the help of auto tune. John’s lyrics stem not only from his life and personal experiences, but also from the perspective of how he imagines another person may feel.  In his song “Suffering in Silence,” John steps into the shoes of a distraught ex-girlfriend after a young love gone wrong. Bearing her pain, he portrays a beautifully fatal heartbreak.   In his latest single “Yours,” John entices listeners with the demand “Show me what you’re working with.” With a blend of a sexy, raspy voice and body-rocking rhythm, this song not only compliments the dance floor, but is an essential jam for any bedroom soundtrack.   John’s only goal in making music is to bring back to fans the type of music that once made people fall in love with rhythm, lyrics and beats. A talent is a waste without a passion to sustain it, and this soulful young romancer is on the right track to reestablishing a beautiful love story between music and it’s lover’s.  ,Edge, aggression, and passion; a fantastically dangerous combination that emanates from a 19 year old soul, desperately in love with music and it’s true worth.
