He continued his search for a business, but was offered a position at Transworld as an agent. He joined the company and quickly became one of South Florida?s top performers.Not quenching his entrepreneurial spirit, he offered and was able to buy Transworld from the owners at the time. He took the solid 18 year old company and grew it over the following years.Now thirty years old, Transworld is the number one business brokerage in the State of Florida. They have currently over 90 business brokers in the organizations and have over 1500 businesses for sale. Transworld was awarded 3.5 million dollars in funding from Florida?s Capco program in 1998 and was one of it?s most successful investments.Andy is the Current Chairman of the International Business Brokers Association (IBBA) headquartered in Chicago IL.
