Eric Brock has always loved to draw and paint. Like most kids, he started drawing in some form when he was ten months old but Brock never stopped pursuing this passion. It was this drive that led him into a successful twelve year career as a graphic artist and web designer. However, in late 2003 he decided to expand his skills and pursue further areas of art by enrolling at Ringling School of Art and Design in Sarasota, Florida. While initially going back to study and develop his digital matte painting skills he also fell in love with representational painting & drawing. In traditional media, he found a connection in history with the classical masters of painting as well as a sensitivity to light and color that also translated over into the digital realm. He now illustrates for a variety of fields (apparel design, book covers, editorial, etc) as well as still producing fine art for gallery shows.
