Kristina is the General Manager of Brenau University’s radio station, 89.1 WBCX "The Voice of Brenau". She is also the Chairperson of Brenau University’s Media Board. At the radio station, Kristina hosts two weekly radio shows. The first airs Mondays from 3 to 5 pm EST, and is called "The Ocean Breeze," playing a variety of traditional and modern beach music. The second, to be on the air soon, is entitled "Above and Beyond" - an informative and inspirational interview talk show, sprinkled with music, highlighting uplifting people in this world. Kristina also produces two pre-recorded and four other live shows per week. In 2008, Kristina graduated from Brenau University with a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, with a concentration in Public Relations. In 2010, she received her Master’s of Science in Organizational Leadership. During her undergrad, she was the Managing Editor for Brenau’s online student publication, The Alchemist. In 2008-2010 she taught the journalism/yearbook course at the Brenau Academy. One of her biggest accomplishments was being crowned Miss Wheelchair California 2005. She had the opportunity to meet many amazing people and to travel her home state to spread awareness, inspiration, motivation and smiles through a positive attitude. Since then, Kristina has been on Team Colours (Wheelchair), acting as a spokesperson, model and regional coordinator. Kristina is the exclusive US sales manager for LegaWear, as well as a model. Legawear custom-tailors suits for anyone, including those requiring unique clothing, such as people with disabilities. Kristina represents both of these companies and their products at expos and events nationally.
