Hello. My name is Anne. I'm a crochet/knit/yarn junkie! This Flikr will mainly be for things related to crocheting, knitting, yarn, jewelry design, and chainmaile design. My great aunt taught me how to crochet a couple of stitches when I was about 7, I later came to find out that those first two stitches were Tunisian simple stitch and full stitch. I’ve tried my hand at knitting and it seems to always go horribly wrong. If you put two pointed sticks in my hands they apparently don’t know what to do with them. My brain says, “Where’s the hook??? We can’t do this without a HOOK!”. Attempts at knitting will continue to be made, irregardless of what my brain says. My goals are to increase my skills and creativity, both at crochet and knitting. I’ve just recently become interested in beaded crochet, making jewelry and purses/clutches. Beading and crochet combined… Perfect! I’m disabled and unable to work outside my home, crocheting helps me fill the hours of the day, and night at times. My stash is very small. Please forgive me all you natural fiber lovers… I work mostly in acrylics! -hangs head in shame- They are a little more within my budget but I am going to start working in natural fibers as soon as that pesky budget allows.
