I'm sort of an Irish-Australian-American mutt, I suppose. I grew up all over the place, from Belfast to Ballarat to Baltimore to Boston and almost everwhere in between. I'm 23 currently, done with college for now, working full-time and looking after my two youngest brothers. I'm a guy who enjoys a variety of things. I love outdoor activities like hiking, camping, sailing, or just walking in the rain. I love just sitting around the house when I can, either reading, watching the telly, or trying to work past the writer's block that's plagued me the last couple years. I'll also enjoy going to a concert or a play, or even a museum or just the library. In person, I can be "excrutiatingly shy" (as my bros put it), until I get comfortable, and then I'll be up for a good conversation, or a game, or pretty much anything. Some people describe me as stoic, and I guess that's fairly accurate, but I can let loose and be a goofball, too. Just depends on my mood and the company I'm with. My family situation is rather complicated, suffice it to say for now that I have five brothers (well, really two brothers and three half-brothers, but we're all just bros). We've been a close knit family, and I don't even want to imagine life without them, especially now. We've had more highs and lows since May than in the last ten years. One bro, Ben, got married, as did our stepdad Greg, and then our oldest bro Sean passed away suddenly. He was the rock that held the family together for so long... it's been rough, but the aftermath has been...going as well as it can, I guess. Sorry to end on such a down note, but I'm not sure really what else to say about life right now. Heh.
