Born and raised in Springfield, MO, I've been working hard ever since I was 15 1/2 years old at my first job as a line cook at Sonic Drive-Thru. For almost 7 years afterward, I worked extensively in virtually every aspect of retail sales and customer service at both Toys "R" Us and Circuit City. In addition, I gained valuable skills in merchandising, leadership, and understanding technology. During part of this time I also attended and graduated from Kickapoo High School, focusing on advanced placement and college-prep courses. I've also worked within the telecommunications industry for about a year and a half, assisting major companies like Hewlett Packard. For as long as I can remember I've been a Republican, even listening to talk radio like Rush Limbaugh as a kid. In 2008, I decided to finally officially get active and become a part of the local Republican Party, and ever since I've been assisting in various campaigns and events for multiple Republican/ Conservative organizations and candidates throughout Greene County. Recently I was appointed Communications Director for the 7th District Congressional Republican Committee, and I look forward to all the possibilities for connecting with other Republicans in the district, engaging folks in the area, and empowering more Republicans with the new tools and skills necessary to win their elections in 2012. Currently I'm finishing a Bachelor of Science Degree, Double Majoring in Socio-Political Communication & Political Science. I am still considering several different options for my future career plans including possibly attending law school or pursuing a masters degree.
