Then it was writing webpages while minoring in computer programming at UCLA. And eventually it became helping investment firms develop and refine algorithmic trading research systems while also building custom CRM databases in Access. There's not much else in life I enjoy more than solving problems, so technology and I have always gotten along spectacularly well. ) PUBLISHING. Somewhere along the line I started writing. Wow. Talk about a life-changer. Not only has it helped the firms I've worked with protect and grow their profitability, it proved invaluable in helping start up a few new businesses. As icing on the cake, it brought me an unrivaled sense of personal satisfaction. Seriously. I write words a week for newsletter that doesn't earn a dime and no professional endeavor has ever made me happier. Whether it's an esoteric economic concept or the value proposition that a start-up can bring to the marketplace, written communication is a difficult thing for most, but I get excited by any challenge that can make use of that skill set.
