Professionally, my achievements and goals can be split between Quality Assurance, and Software Development. My position at HUGE encompassed every project that went through Tech, from the very first, Broadway.com to Maybelline, which was my final project before HUGE was acquired by IPG. I developed a set of standards which far exceeded the expectations of our clients, and joyfully for them, and our project managers, stayed within the budgets. The standards I created included functional, performance, security and usability standards both server and client-side, which were applied consistently and methodically to every project. I also actively develop software for use in and out of QA. My focus mainly is creating new, or optimized solutions for QA, which not only reduce the amount of manual intervention or interpretation necessary, but aim to reduce the amount of time taken to find and report defects while increasing the speed of delivery. Through my Quality Assurance Meetup Group, I have debuted several innovations, the most popular is an automated system which captures images of webpages, and compares them when the code changes, by overlaying the images and highlighting any differences in the color of your choice. I also created the first python module for data generation, and randomization which is called Picka. Picka produces data for use in any application in english and albanian currently, but a total of 20 languages will be included in the near future. I am also a contributor on the Selenium and Webdriver projects, with patches committed for the python bindings, and even a java patch or two, and I am a moderator of the projects google group. My goals for the short term, is to finish adding the other 18 languages to Picka, and my slightly longer term goal, is to become a python core contributor.
