Stephen Dargo believes that Architecture is best articulated under the influence of other artistic and cultural endeavors. It has the ability to be a mirror to its surroundings, reflecting both its time and its place, as well as its historical, sociological and political ideology. Stephen studied History of Culture as an undergraduate at the University of Wisconsin - Madison (B.S. ) and Architecture at Columbia University (M. Arch ). After graduating as a winner of the William F. Kinne Fellows Traveling Prize for "The Work of Bruno Stagno and Ambient Syncretism in Costa Rica", he began practicing architecture in New York City. Stephen is a Registered Architect in the State of New York (RA), and is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA). Recently, Stephen has been teaching a course on the topic of Architecture and Film at the Brooklyn Brainery in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn.
