Since earning my LMT (Licensed Massage Therapist) license in , I have received extensive training in Zen Shiatsu. My practice has benefited greatly from the training, support from The Shiatsu College of the UK (httpshiatsucollege.co.ukaboutteachers ) and their instructors with international credentials. Zen Shiatsu is a method of bodywork and healing I feel produces greater benefits and results for my clients. In addition to my private practice, since I have worked with the Institute of Traditional Medicine (httpwww.itmonline.org ) in their Immune Enhancement Programs. The Program cares for patients who have cancer, MS, HIV, arthritis and chronic pain. The Shiatsu clinic provides an important part of the Institute's program that includes Acupuncture and Chinese herbs for their patients. Through my work there I have gained greater knowledge and effectiveness in using Shiatsu to address illnesses and diseases that compromise the immune system.
