As President of Polaroid (PLR IP Holdings), I am responsible for leading all aspects of Polaroid’s transformation into a world-class brand licensing company, driving growth, execution, and profitability across all categories including instant photography, digital imaging, and consumer electronics. Prior to this role, I led the Americas region with full P&L responsibility across all product lines and retail customers including Wal-Mart, Target, Best Buy, Circuit City, Sears, Kmart, Sam’s Club and Costco. Prior to that role, I led the Product Marketing, Product Engineering, and New Technology teams driving product development strategies and launch initiatives which supported Polaroid’s market share growth by delivering today’s most relevant technologies. Before joining Polaroid in 2004, I held various leadership positions in product marketing at Dell Inc. including leading Product Marketing for the multi-billion dollar Displays business which included LCD and Plasma televisions, CRT and LCD monitors, and DLP projectors where I helped grow Dell into the #1 market share position. Prior to Dell, I worked at Intel serving as a product manager in the systems management division overseeing Intel’s Remote Server Management products. I also worked in Intel’s Architecture Labs where I conceived initiatives to expand computing within the home. I began my career as a regional sales manager for Vantage Controls, Inc. where I was responsible for sales in the Southeastern territory region. My education background includes an MBA from the Marriott School at Brigham Young University and a Bachelor of Arts in Mandarin Chinese from BYU.
