The Passion of Zeus & Phoebe needs your support to be published. Please tell all of your Cat friends about it www.kickstarter.com/projects/zeusandphoebe/the-passion-of... I love Zeus & Phoebe, but I'm broke! No problem! Even if you can only afford $1, you will be a favorite of ours and we will love you and appreciate your support, purrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. By pledging $1 you will get access to updates on the project and by spreading word about it you'll help to spread joy and love of kitty cats around the world. THE DEADLINE to order is February 4th, 2012. Kickstarter closes the project to everyone so no more people can order it. If the book has NOT reached the amount needed to be published by that date, there will be NO BOOK. This photo is about my project, a full color, hard cover book for animal lovers everywhere. The Passion of Zeus & Phoebe: A True Love Story will be an 8 1/2 x 11 mini coffee table, landscape style book printed on an off-set press with 100+ full color, glossy photographs, a full-bleed cover, front and back, and a sewn hard binding. This book tells the tender love story of two of the sweetest, most loving, intelligent and obedient ginger tabbies that you will ever meet and will appeal to all ages. Their sweet devotion for each other is lovingly expressed through words and beautiful photography. As with people, it wasn't exactly love at first sight; but with time it blossomed into a full passionate saga of two soul mates on a journey through life. You will marvel at Zeus who became a doting father of 12 ginger kittens. You will be moved by Phoebe's gentle mothering of two adopted kitties along with her own. Her unending devotion to her soul mate, Zeus, and his love for her is an inspiration to all. The Passion of Zeus & Phoebe needs your support to be published. Please tell all of your Cat friends about it www.kickstarter.com/projects/zeusandphoebe/the-passion-of... You can buy it right now and you won't be charged for it until Feb. 4th or later. If not enough people pre-order it, you won't be charged because the book won't be published. The printer has told me it takes 30 days to print that many books. KickStarter says Amazon.com holds onto the money for 14 days and then it can take up to 7 days to be transferred to me. So it would probably be sometime in April before the books are shipped. . . KickStarter and Amazon.com handle all the money transactions. . . . THERE are many REWARDS (dollar amounts) to choose from starting at only ONE DOLLAR. . You can choose how much you want to pledge and how many books and rewards you want! . . This is a book not to be missed!! Cat lovers the world over will be thrilled to own a copy of The Passion of Zeus & Phoebe: A True Love Story. As you turn page after page you'll be drawn deeper into the love story of two ginger tabbies that were destined to be together, soul mates for life. The incredible love expressed between Zeus & Phoebe has moved readers to laugh and cry tears of pure joy. When I adopted Zeus as a tiny kitten in 2008, I never dreamed that I would be publishing a love story between two cats. Then, in 2009, I rescued Phoebe from an uncertain life, never thinking that two years later I would be sharing the incredible story of their love with the world. Initially, I simply wanted a small, furry buddy to love. Then I realized that Zeus needed a companion to play with while I worked. As a semi-professional photographer, I was taking photographs of my kitties because I love photography. It was only in retrospect that I realized that I had documented a wonderful story unfolding on the pages of their Flickr account. Watch a video of their first two years together here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=w-pjXLwEPqE Thank you for taking the time to look at my book, and a big purring head-tap to those of you who fund this project. I will be adding more updates at www.kickstarter.com/projects/zeusandphoebe/the-passion-of... as my project moves along. I have found many of my photos on many websites by using www.images.google.com. I have NOT authorized anyone to use my photos anywhere. My photographs found here in my Photostream are not to be reproduced anywhere. If you desire to use my photos found here, for use on websites for any reason, whether it is a non-profit website (no ads or sale of goods or services) or a website that profits from the sale of goods and/or services or Ads then you are required, by law, to obtain my written permission before any such use occurs. When I do find one of my photos being used illegally, I send the letter shown below to the domain, their web hosting company, Google (for ads or blogging) and Yahoo with the correct information inserted: Attn: Copyright Agent, (name of offending website here and its hosting companies); Pursuant to 17 USC 512(c)(3)(A), this communication serves as a statement that: I am, David Webb, copyright owner of (Copy and paste URL of your photo where it is found in your Photostream); My exclusive rights are being violated by material available upon your site at the following URL(s): (copy website URL where photos(s) are found here); I have not authorized my copyrighted photograph to be used on this website; Under penalty of perjury in a United States court of law, I state that the information contained in this notification is accurate, and that I am authorized to act on the behalf of the exclusive rights holder for the material in question; I may be contacted through this email; I hereby request that you remove or disable access to this material as it appears on your service in as expedient a fashion as possible. If you have received this communication in error, please immediately notify the sender by return e-mail, and delete the original message and all copies from your system and promptly destroy any copies made of this electronic message. Thank you. ***************************************************************************************************************************** The above letter is usually all it takes to have my photo(s) removed. So far, I haven't had to have my attorney send a cease and desist letter through snail mail to their ISP nor have I had to file a suit in Federal Court seeking damages in excess of $1,000,000 (of course, my lawyer will seek that sum of money from the website's hosting domain and ISP for not removing the webpage where my photo is found). Yes, you are probably saying to yourself that $1,000,000 is way too much money, but who is to say how much money the website has made in profit from people clicking through my photo to their page. People do an image search or keyword search and my photo appears in the results. However, my photo isn't on my Photostream, but a website that has illegally copied and pasted my copyrighted photo onto their server and website. Then once a person has followed the link of my photo to the website that is illegally using my photo, that person clicks on an Ad on that website, thereby, giving that website money for clicking on the Ads, or the person purchases goods or services from that website again giving that website profit through illegal use of my photo. It is my copyrighted photo that took time and money to produce, not to mention that I paid Flickr for a Pro account. Why should others make a profit off of my photos without myself earning money for my work? BOTTOM LINE: Want to use one of my photos? Send me an email through Flickr WRITE IN SUBJECT LINE: Request for use of your photo(s) If you don't put the above sentence in the subject line, I may never see it as all SPAM is deleted without being read. ****************************************************************************************************************************** See more of my videos in full length here: www.youtube.com/utahactor Videos of Phoebe's pregnancy and kittens can be seen at the above link. I guess I forgot until earlier this year (2009) Zeus & Phoebe celebrated their Two Year Anniversary on June 13, 2011. I used to travel a lot via the major Interstates which is why you can see an East West pattern where it ends because I turned around and went back the way I came. I had the opportunity to visit New York City while in NJ, but I decided against it. A couple times, I wanted to take the turn-off on I-80 in Indiana just so I could cross the Michigan border and say that I had been there, but decided not to waste the gas. While in Wash. DC, I could have crossed a bridge into Virgina so I could say that I had been there, but it wasn't that exciting to me at the time. If I remember correctly, on a flight to NJ the plane landed at the Atlanta airport, but I don't count that since I didn't leave the boarding gate area and it was a very short stop-over. Visiting an airport these days and not leaving the airport to visit the city where it is located is kinda like flying into Berlin during the peak of the Cold War, especially with all of the security and body searches. If you land in Berlin and stay there and not go through Check Point Charlie, you didn't really visit Germany in those days.
