Among his favorite bands are Coldplay, Travis, Evanescence, Bjork, Aqualung, Soundgarden, Styx, Black Eyed Peas, Snow Patrol, Fiona Apple, Neil Young, Simon & Garfunkel, Three Dog Night, Koda Kumi, Dashboard Confessional and Asian Kung-fu Generation. His favorite movie is Family Guy. Alison Schmidt Larsen and Elise Pearlstine are in Michael family.
