With eight years of experience in the public relations field, more than a decade of experience in writing for newspaper and magazine media outlets on a freelance or employment basis, and working for ABC Radio for three years, I have a diverse background in the media industry. In addition to incorporating my business, I freelance, and I am currently on contract with Texas AM University-Commerce through August . While there, I am doing basic PR, writing and editing for print and digital material. I report to the vice president of Marketing Communications. I have written copy in a variety of forms from How to manuals, video scripts, brochures, various marketing materials, web copy, curriculum, a senate proposal, press releases, marketing plans, and magazine and newspaper articles. I am also currently writing a single-parents coaching system set to be released next year. Specialties My number one talent is communication written or verbal. Second is a killer instinct in both fields of PR and journalism. I love to capture the story, and I am good at turning any ordinary bit of information into news.
