Aarti Batavia lives with fun, flavors and finesse for well over 14 years. As a Registered Dietitian, Functional Nutrition Practitioner and speaker she deciphers scientific nutrition information to her clients in order to provide practical advice they can live with. Aarti serves as a spokeperson for Michigan Dietetic Association to effectively communicate targeted nutrition messages to educate local and regional audiences on sound nutrition practices via public media. She is also an active member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (A.N.D), the world’s largest organization of food and nutrition professionals. Aarti has been a founder member and joint secretary for the All India Association for Advancing Research in Obesity (AIAARO), a leading organization affiliated to the International Association for the Study of Obesity. In 2009, Aarti was awarded Michigan Dietetic Association Institutional (MDAI) scholarship for her scholastic achievements and leadership in community activities.
