Raised by a frisky family whose motto was eat until your pants need unbuttoning, I spent the early part of my twenties in an iceberg lettuce fast food tug-of-war, trying to crack the healthy living riddle. And although I was shiny and smiley on the outside, my inside was in chaos. All I knew was that I was a pretty kick ass person and this funky food was dimming my spark. So I cleaned house. And out went the crap in my life food, people and excuses. I dove headfirst into the wellness waters, coming up for air once I realized that authentic and holistic living holds the blueprint for bliss. Out came my glow. And the coolest part I get to wrap up all my wisdom nuggets, growing pains and life lessons in a big ol hot pink bow and share them with you Because your happiness rocks my world. As a Holistic Nutrition Practitioner, Healthy Living Expert, Certified Yoga Teacher and your biggest Cheerleader, I believe that a nutrient-dense diet rules, exercise is imperative, having fun must be taken VERY seriously, and that love and travel are good for the soul. I received degrees in Psychology and Communications from the University of Michigan and attended The Institute for Integrative Nutrition of Columbia University, NY, the largest and most prestigious nutrition school in the world, boasting nutrition and spiritual superstar instructors like John Douillard, Dr. Neal Barnhard, David Wolfe and Deepak Chopra.
