Antonio Silva is pursuing an MBA at UC Berkeley-Haas, class of with an emphasis on entrepreneurship and venture capital. At Haas, Antonio is part of the UC Berkeley Startup Competition Executive Committee, the founding team of the Cal Venture Fund, and a Mayfield Fellow. Antonio has built a career focused on turning data insights into intelligent business decisions at the intersection between technology and business. Antonio initiated his professional life as a fuel cell RD engineer at Air Liquide before becoming a quantitative analyst at Expert Timing Systems (ETS), a boutique asset management firm, and later a product manager leading an investment strategy tailored at high net-worth individuals. Since coming to Berkeley Antonio has worked in product at Kontagent, a data analytics startup, and on the Business Development and Platform Strategy group at Twitter. Antonio currently sources potential venture investments for Foundation Capital in the Berkeley area. Antonio received his Masters degree in Engineering Physics from Nova University of Lisbon in and is a CFA Charterholder since .
