April Allison is an economist, environmentalist, and human rights advocate. She has studied at Weatherford College, The University of North Texas, and the Institute for Humane studies at George Mason University. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies, with a focus on Business and Economics, from the University of North Texas. She plans to enter a graduate program in Environmental Economics at the Toulouse School of Economics in the fall of . April's recent projects include writing for the blog Flee Double Ignorance, working on a Hay-bale house project, and working for Earthworks as a Communications and Development Intern.
