I have held many, many jobs and have lived in many places. Jobs have ranged from cleaning outhouses at public fishing lakes to teaching college. Places I've lived range from a tiny, dilapidated two-room shack (plus outhouse) for which I paid per month to the -bedroom house I now own and occupy alone. Born in Colorado, I grew up in Ohio and California before returning to Colorado and later living in Arizona, New Mexico and Northern Michigan. My nickname is "Wandering Dave" and I most definitely was "born under a wandrin' star..." Specialties I'm an above-average writer and editor I'm an idea man with some experience in public administration. My current blog is titled BurkeDroppings I'm adding posts infrequently and with no apparent theme or purpose. I'm (barely) above average with computers and the internet and I know a few things about leisure services and mass communications.
