I have extensive experience in Java programming, including GUI desktop applications, Android apps, and Hadoop systems. I have worked with large relational databases and sparse "big data" systems. Multithreading and performance are a particular interest of mine. I've worked in different industries and on different sized teams, and I'm adaptable to different demands and environments.
