Sean Kelly is the founder and CEO of CORUS, a web 2.0 collaboration platform which aims to delivers an innovative and low cost solution to one of the most important issues facing businesses today – the efficient management of information. Currently in pre-market beta trials across a range of market segments, the platform is being launched in 2010. From 2003-2007 he held classes at RMIT University - engaging architecture students to apply their skills and understandings to new practice opportunities in visualising the virtual networks created by the internet and the software platforms that run on it. From 1998-2002 he co-developed, an innovative back office solution for one of Australia's leading banks. The solution enabled the bank to grow that market segment from an annual turnover of $30 million to over $15 billion. Comparable systems build costs are in the vicinity of $20-40 million. Kelly and colleages created the system for around $2 million. Prior to that he held consulting positions in the advertising industry. Enabling clients such as Clemenger BBDO and Saatchi & Saatchi to adapt new technology platforms and drive profitability. He created their first web sites for clients such as Baillue Knight Frank in 1994. The prototype for this site was used as the basis of www.realestate.com.au, a successful publicly listed venture. In the 80's he was a pioneering DJ introducing Funk, House and Hip-Hop to audiences at Melbourne night clubs - whilst studying Medicine, Commerce and Arts degrees.
