Cuong is currently a collections care and processing contractor at the Smithsonian Anacostia Museum in collaborations with Museum Conservation Institute and providing services to the general housekeeping, condition reports, performing FTIR analysis of paint binders, and digital documentation for their collections of modern and contemporary painted objects. He is a graduate student at the University College London, and pursues his MA in Principles for Conservation (-) with prospective ambitions in their MSc Conservation for Archaeology and Museums. His field specific interests include conservation ethics, economicalgreen conservation, conservation for developing countries, and retrofitting technological advances for the conservation profession.
